Hm.. I have tried this myself and while there are the ocassional Close hickups 
(mostly when someone performs an action in jail or lands an estate redirecting to 
another one, such as Go To Jail or the Advance To Boardwalk card) it's definitely 
not all the time and as bad as you described it to me. ;-) 
 
With a possible memory leak pending, I'm considering making this a WONTFIX 
(especially since the HEAD framework is completely different and much more 
intelligent about all this).
