Technically: the module needs to have a .cc suffix. Look for _CC_ (as
opposed to _C_) is Makefile.moddir_rules.

channels/chan_vpb.cc is in the tree (though disabled by default).
Asterisk 11 had channels/chan_h323.c that was C, but interfaced with
C++ code under channels/h323/ .
