It is in maintenence mode.  It is still being used but not being
enhanced.

My son wrote this when he was in college.  At that time 7.6
was the latest tcl release.  He is now at google and doesn't
have time to update.

It is open source and anyone who wants to make the effort
to move to tcl 8.4 is welcome to try.
