I have received some bug reports from FreeBSD users on ia64 platforms
about compiling ksh93. I cannot make any sense out of the errors that
they report, except for the calloc problem when compiling proto.c. It
appears that proto.c includes a definition of calloc as taking two
int's, when the actual system definition uses two size_t's, which are
64-bit quantities, not 32-bit int's.

Has anyone else encountered problems compiling ksh93 (the 2005-02-02
version) on any ia64 platform?

/Joe
