Thanks for asking! Perhaps you ask because you have Vista? I
don't. How about giving it a try and reporting the results. Could
you also try my fork :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/descdatadiary
It is a simple RTF based editor which uses a fork of aspell for
spell check.

In theory it would work, but you know the relationship between
theory and reality.
