Hi James,
Aspell is designed for the command line and does not respond well
to drag and drop.

You could open up a ms-dos window and type 'aspell -?' or you
could read the doc.
You are also welcome to check out this project, It includes a
real simple text editor and it uses a windows port of aspell 0.6x
for it's spell checker.
