I'm currently trying to get Aspell to use a simple personal wordlist I have created (this in addition to the standard en_US dictionary). The documentation was pretty sketchy on this subject, but from the list archives and an indepth Google search, I came to the conclusion that the personal wordlist should be in the format: first line of "personal_ws.1.1 en_US x" where 'x' is the number of words in the list, followed by the words listed one word per line.

I then added the 'personal' flag to the aspell command as follows: --personal=.aspell.en_US.pws

It is finding the file, but it throws an error that the file is not in the correct format.

Any suggestions as to where I'm going wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nicole
