You can create a personal dictionary, which is just a text file in a fairly simple \
format that you can add words to manually or via the "aspell merge personal" command.

You can also use pipe mode (aspell -a) and enter the appropriate commands to append \
words to the personal dictionary.

If you'd like to add words to the master dictionary, I believe you have to recompile \
it.  But you can have multiple compiled dictionaries that you create yourself.

The part about pipe mode is in Chapter 6.
