I want to compile ASPELL !
I downloaded Aspell 0.50.3.
As root I did ./configure
and then make.
Make stopped with following error:
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -g -O2 -MT posib_err.lo -MD -MP -MF =
.deps/posib_err.Tpo -c posib_err.cpp -fPIC -DPIC
posib_err.cpp: In member function `acommon::PosibErrBase&
acommon::PosibErrBase::with_file(acommon::ParmString)':
posib_err.cpp:77: error: non-lvalue in unary `&'
make[2]: *** [posib_err.lo] Error 1

I'm using SuSE Linux 8.2 with gcc 3.3
