Hello,

has anybody started working on a Tcl binding for aspell yet?

The background for this question is that we are interfacing to aspell in
a commercial product (http://www.epcedit.com) by using the pipe
interface. This solution is not completely satisfactory for a number of
reasons, so we are thinking about creating a direct interface by using
Tcl as the binding language.

We're planning to create a generic binding layer that would enable the
use of aspell from Tcl scripts in general. Of course, the resulting
software will be open source'ed.

Before we're actually stating to work on this, we would like to find out
if anybody has already started to work on this so that redundant efforts
can be avoided.

Any comments or suggestions?

Best regards,

Heinz-Detlev Koch
