Thanks Adam.  It is a Back-UPS .  One of the APC folks had said it was apcsmart and \
one had said it was the standard USB to HID power device protocol.  

By the way,  great program and great documentation.  Cable is a 940-0127D which is \
not in the list, so I'll just use USB for the UPSCABLE

It should be USB. I believe the BN1250 is a Back-UPS not a Smart-UPS, so it would not \
support UPS-Link. Regardless if you're using a USB cable you want UPSTYPE USB.
