Thanks for the answers.

In fact, the correct question was :

What happens if SSLRandomFile and SSLRandomFilePerConnection are not used ?
In such a case, where does the random stuff come from ?
Could someone guess how random keys are generated ?

(OpenSSL itself seems to manage well without any random device - using $RND 
or .rnd i guess... Can't Apache-SSL use the random facilities from OpenSSL ?)

Thanks for the answers and apologies because I did not look closely into the 
sources for theses questions.
