Hi ,
I have a Alpha , running RH Linux 5.0 with a few (all) patches .. Kernel 2.0.34
apache 1.3.0 runs very happily. I have tried with gcc , and egcs .. both fail
I am using SSLeay-0.8.1b installed in /usr/src/SSLeay-0.8.1b, and i also changed
that in the Configuration file. SSLeay Compiled fine and sits in /usr/local/ssl/
anyone know whats wrong ?
now applying ben's patch i get :
<=== main
===> modules
===> modules/ssl
Makefile:107: warning: overriding commands for target `libssl.a'
Makefile:62: warning: ignoring old commands for target `libssl.a'
Makefile:121: warning: overriding commands for target `.c.o'
Makefile:69: warning: ignoring old commands for target `.c.o'
Makefile:127: warning: overriding commands for target `clean'
Makefile:76: warning: ignoring old commands for target `clean'
Makefile:130: warning: overriding commands for target `distclean'
Makefile:79: warning: ignoring old commands for target `distclean'
Makefile:136: warning: overriding commands for target `depend'
Makefile:83: warning: ignoring old commands for target `depend'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `apache_ssl.a', needed by `libssl.a'. Stop.
make[1]: *** [all] Error 1
make: *** [subdirs] Error 1

PS. I edited the src/Configuration file by hand , and then did a ./Configure in the
same dir.
so as far as i know i am not using APACI but the old way ...
