Subject:    Problems with DBI under mod_perl

I am having troubles with DBI under mod_perl.  $dbh->disconnect will
not terminate my database connection to Sybase.  Everytime I execute
the script I gain another one.  I eventually use all of the available
connections and the script fails.  The same script works fine under
normal CGI perl.  I'm using the following software:

Apache 1.3.6
mod_perl 1.17
Sybase DBD 0.19
DBI 1.09

Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
