Dear Support,
          I'm trying to install apache on an HP-UX 11 machine. I have the
following jars :

		apache_1.3.22-9000_715-hp-hpux11.00.tar
		jakarta-tomcat-3.3a-src.tar
		jakarta-tomcat-3.3a.tar
		mod_ssl-2.8.5-1.3.22.tar
	openssl-engine-0.9.6c.tar

I have followed the steps below but encountered a problem with step 8. If
you could help, this will be much appreciated.

	1.	cd openssl1-0.9.6b
	2.	./config
	3.	make
	4.	cd ../mod_ssl-2.8.3-1.3.19
	5.	./configure \
		--with-apache= /omg/apache22/apache_1.3.22 \
		--with-ssl=/omg/ openssl-engine-0.9.6c \
		--prefix= /omg/apache22/apache_1.3.22 \
		--enable-module=so \
		--enable-rule=SHARED_CORE
	6.	cd ../ apache_1.3.22

	7.	Edited  the configure.layout file, so that under Layout
Apache
		prefix:        /omg/apache22/apache_1.3.22 \
	8.	make
		result:
		Error
	Make: Cannot load flex.  Stop.
		*** Error exit code 1

		Stop.
		*** Error exit code 1

		Stop.
		*** Error exit code 1

		Stop.
		*** Error exit code 1

		Stop.
		*** Error exit code 1

		Stop.
