Libcloud is a Python library that abstracts away the differences among
multiple cloud provider APIs. It allows users to manage cloud services
(servers, storage, load balancers, DNS) offered by many different providers
through a single, unified and easy to use API.

We are pleased to announce a long awaited Libcloud 0.16.0 release.

This is a first release in the 0.16 series which means it brings many
new features, improvements and bug-fixes.

Release highlights:

- Support for OpenStack Identity API v3.0
- Support for HTTP proxy for outgoing HTTP requests
- New driver for VMware vSphere based clouds
- Support for Amazon GovCloud
- New driver for the ProfitBricks provider
- Support for authentication with the internal metadata service in the
  Google Compute Engine driver
- Easier debugging with LIBCLOUD_DEBUG by pretty-formatting JSON and XML
  responses
- and much more!
