The Delete coretask doc specifies that the failonerror attribute is supported

There is a failonerror attribute of the delete task of ant 1.4, though not 
before, and it shouldnt be an OS dependent issue. Therefore this report is 
intrigues me.

1. what is the output of ant -version ?
2. what is the error you are seeing ?
3. can you post the build file, or a snippet thereof.
