I don't like making a lot of noise about donations for Annvix, but
every once in a while it's helpful to remind people that while there is
no cost for them to use Annvix, there is definitely cost for me.  =)

I've put up a new blog post discussing a potential build server upgrade:

The bottom line is that the existing build server is over 3 years old
and is showing it's age.  Sun has some really nice systems, and even the
entry-level stuff is really nice (and I've become quite attached to the
sunfire line).

I'd like those who use and find Annvix useful to consider making a
donation to the project.  Details are in the blog post, but essentially
I'm looking to raise $1500CAD which would pay for about half the system
as I can't afford the whole thing, but would be willing to invest half
the cost.  Unless someone feels really generous and wants to donate some
hardware, this is the way to go.

This is, of course, entirely up to the generosity of Annvix's users and
how much they feel Annvix is of worth to them, especially in the long
term, so if you've thought about donating in the past but never have,
and only if you feel Annvix is useful, now would would be a good time do
so.
