A new ISO installer for 1.0-RELEASE will be available shortly (as  
soon as the mirrors catch up).  The updates for this revision are that:

1) we no longer modprobe aic7xxx_old at all, so if you have a SCSI  
card that requires this, you will have to do it manually.  This is to  
prevent the system from dying if the previous modprobe of aic7xxx  
already found a supported SCSI device and then aic7xxx_old tries to  
set it up again resulting in a system hang

2) the base packages are now on the ISO itself so the install should  
go much faster for people who have to reach out to the internet to do  
the install, however you can still do net installs or "arbitrary" net  
installs (ie. if you maintain your own mirror)

The new ISOs are a bit bigger, about twice the size of the previous  
ones.  As before, they're compressed to make the download smaller.
