Aha!  You really should try Annvix out, even just to play with it... =)

Regardless, this is good info.  I suppose we could make it to build all 
of the different worker types and the user selects which one they 
want... I believe the latest Mandrake packages work this way.  I've 
been meaning to port over the changes from their 2.0.50 spec, but it 
would take me all day I think just due to the massive changes (and I 
believe building/bundling each worker type is one of the changes).  As 
soon as I have some time.. =)

That would be good tho, because maybe we can do something like put a 
Conflicts in the threaded worker type so that you can't install it if 
php-imap is installed, or can't install php-imap if it is installed.
