Please excuse me for a potentially rudimentary question, but I am picking up
for a person who left the company. I did not install ANALOG and don't know
about its internals. I am just trying to respond to a customer's request to
schedule automated running of ANALOG for a pre-set number of weeks.
We are running "analog version 5.22/OS390" on z/OS 1.4.
Q1) Can I run ANALOG as an ISH command?
I can manually run it under OMVS/UNIX but it fails when I execute from ISH
(my intention was/is to later run this cmd with CRON).
Here's ISH output. Please note that the same .CFG files runs fine under
OMVS/UNIX.
------------------------
/isv/analog/analog-5.22/analog: analog version 5.22/OS390
/isv/analog/analog-5.22/analog: Warning F: Failed to open configuration file
ilya-webeis_analog.cfg: ignoring it
(For help on all errors and warnings, see docs/errors.html)
/isv/analog/analog-5.22/analog: Warning D: Turning all pie charts off
because OUTFILE is stdout and CHARTDIR is unset
/isv/analog/analog-5.22/analog: Warning F: Failed to open logfile
/web/websrv/httpd-log.*: ignoring it
-------------------------
Q2) How/where can pre-set # of weeks for ANALOG to report on?
Thank you,
- ilya Gersh
