Well you did --pretend. So it just pretended. You probably should make
a .kdesvn-buildrc, so it installs where you want it to. Read the docs
that come with kdesvn-build.

That said, what distro do you use? Most distros have a KDE 4.1
available by now in one of their backport repos. There's really no
reason you should have to compile anything but Amarok itself.
