                    color

          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux

shows the light-blue background color when using Breeze Dark theme

SUMMARY
In Amarok's "Context" window: all Applets get their background color from the
wrong color setting in KDE Plasma. This is not an issue when using KDE's
default light theme (Breeze), but when I switch to theme "Breeze Dark" theme
(using System Settings > Colors), it becomes difficult to read the embedded
Wikipedia pages.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure KDE Plasma to use the "Breeze Dark" theme in System Settings >
Colors.
2. Open Amarok 2.9.0
3. Look at Amarok's Context.

OBSERVED RESULT
I cannot read the Wikipedia page easily - links are almost impossible to read.

EXPECTED RESULT
I was expecting the Wikipedia page to be easily readable, even when using a
dark operating system color scheme.

ANALYSIS
See attached image. All affected areas are cirled.
These areas should not have a light-blue background color on the Breeze Dark
theme.
The reason the color is light-blue is because Amarok is filling these areas
with the "Selection Background":
This setting can be found here:
KDE Plasma > System Settings > Colors > Edit Color Scheme > Colors > Common
Colors > Selection Background
"Selection Background" is probably not the right source for background colors.
I think it makes more sense to get the color from the "View Background" or
"Window Background" or "Button Background" or something that is intended to be
used as a normal background color.
