            Bug ID: 382919
Summary: Some mp3 tracks audio cuts playing
           Product: amarok
           Version: 2.8.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Playback
          Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
          Reporter: jc_josue3773@hotmail.com
                CC: matej@laitl.cz
  Target Milestone: 2.9

I'm using Linux Mint KDE 18.
Only certain short (a minute or few seconds long) mp3 files stop playing sound
(the last few seconds of the track give no sound) the audio cuts playing but
the track is still playing muted, it gives no sound in those few seconds or
milliseconds before the end.

It sounds like a bad implemented gapless code in phonon or something similar.
it's horrible when there are several tracks in a playlist with this
characteristic, the tracks sound ends before it should and silence in between
becomes too long. Other players such as Clementine can play those tracks
without the problem (except that Amarok's equalizer is better than
Clementine's) so I want to use Amarok!
