Is there a reliable way to find out the version?

konsole and kate --version says:
Qt: 5.5.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.18.0
Konsole: 15.12.1

kded5 --version
kded5 5.18.0

kded4 --version
Qt: 4.8.7
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.16
KDE Daemon: 4.14.16

amarok --version
Qt: 4.8.7
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.16
Amarok: 2.8.0

(For me it looks like that amarok has some problems when changing the track and
refreshing all infos: On almost every track change, my HDD starts rotating
which needs some time and the GUI of amarok is not running smoothly... or maybe
there are problems with dbus/mpris?)
