            Bug ID: 356097
Summary: Connection to external MySQL database not recovered on
                    resuming from sleep
           Product: amarok
           Version: 2.8.0
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Collection Browser
          Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
          Reporter: jeriba4@googlemail.com

Using an external MySQL database, the connection to the same is not recovered
on resuming from sleep. Amarok repeatedly pops up error message indicating
duplicate entries, but MySQL response indicates lost connection. In order to
recover, Amarok needs to be restarted.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use external MySQL database
2. Suspend to RAM while Amarok is playing
3. Resume

Actual Results:
Amarok repeatedly pops up error message telling that duplicate entries have
been found, but MySQL response indicates that connection has not been restored
=> "no database selected"

Expected Results:
Amarok notices that connection to external MySQL database has been lost and
recovers the same.

openSUSE Leap 42.1 (kernel 4.1.12)
External MySQL 5.5.20
