            Bug ID: 355141
Summary: Record Stream is not stopping, the recording
continues, even if you click stop, or exit Amarok.
           Product: amarok
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Playback/Streams
          Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
          Reporter: phdsrq@gmail.com

Dear Amarok developers, and script developers,

First, I love the Amarok music player and music manager. Thank you.

Second, the Record Stream function (script) is not stopping, once started, the
recording of the stream continues, even if you click the toolbar option to
"Stop Recording", even using the "timer", or even if you exit Amarok. The
"streamripper" program continues to run and record, until you manually kill the
"streamripper" process using a terminal command, like "pkill streamripper" or
(killall -9 streamripper), or through the "Ksysguard" system monitor. It reocrd
the correct Internet Streaming station, but it just will not stop recording.

I am using Linux Mint KDE version 17.1 (soon v17.2), Kernel: 3.13.0-37-generic
i686 (32 bit, gcc: 4.8.2), Desktop: KDE 4.14.2 (Qt 4.8.6).

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards to you and yours.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start playing and listening to an internet stream.
2. click "Tool", "Record Livestream", or "Record webradio", with or with out
using the timer. I have not tried the "Record to wav-file" option.
3. I have specified a specific folder to store the recorded stream, if that
matters.

Actual Results:
1. Start playing and listening to an internet stream.
2. click "Tool", "Record Livestream", or "Record webradio", with or with out
using the timer. I have not tried the "Record to wav-file" option.
3. I have specified a specific folder to store the recorded stream, if that
matters.

Expected Results:
I expect the recording stream process (program) to stop when I click the
"Tools", "Stop Recording", and If I am using the "timer", when the timer is
finished.

I have personally looked a the "RecordStream" script, but I do not know the
Javascript programming language, so I do not know why this is not stopping the
recording process (stopping streamripper), or how to put in the correct code
and where to put the code in the script, to tell the script to execute a kill
process command to stop "streamripper". For Your Information: I read that this
problem might have something to do with "Javascript" and "bash version 3", when
my system and other current Linux systems use a newer Bash, like "Bash version
4.3.11" and "Dash (0.5.7)".
