Bug ID: 354408
Summary: Amarok fails to change tracks with an NFS collection
Product: amarok
Version: 2.8.0
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Playback
Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
Reporter: paulo.fidalgo.pt@gmail.com
CC: matej@laitl.cz
Having a large collection on NFS, sometimes when I load one album (double
clicking in the album name) it plays the first song and them amarok becomes
irresponsive.
Both computers are on a idle gigabit lan connection and the server is idle with
a quad-core i5 and a SATA drive, so I believe its not related with network.
Also the only solution for amarok is to KILL it.
Following the suggestion here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=296100#c77
I've runned amarok and got this output:
amarok: BEGIN: App::App()
amarok: BEGIN: void App::continueInit()
amarok: BEGIN: EngineController::EngineController()
amarok: END__: EngineController::EngineController() [Took: 0.001s]
amarok: BEGIN: void EngineController::initializePhonon()
