For the record: We have to remove the egl USE flag in portage for both qtgui
and qtopengl :

In /etc/portage/package.use, add:

#Fixes amarok crash
=dev-qt/qtgui-4.8.6* -egl
=dev-qt/qtopengl-4.8.6* -egl

Maybe the USE flag should even be masked for qtgui-4* and qtopengl-4* in the
main portage tree, since it does not sound like this bug will be solved any
time soon... (2 years old!)
