Well, sorting the podcasts really depends on the metadata provided by the
broadcaster,  and by default the sort order is done by publication date.

Moving to wishlist as this is not a bug, just something that would have to be
implemented additionally to the default sorting. See FWIW2 below why I don't
think this is a good idea

FWIW: please keep in mind that sorting according to all existing tags provided
by the broadcaster will also add additional complexity to our codebase.

FWIW2: saving the episodes and adding them to the collection already allows you
to edit the tags and have more sort options, doing this on live feeds is rather
awkward. In the initial bug report you refer to one of the reporters mentioned
iTunes as an example: well, AFAIK iTunes does save the episodes and can then
treat those as a collection and sort them differently. But saving episodes as a
default setting is out of our scope.
