Which exact Amarok version, which KDE version, which Phonon backend?

Please see the Amarok Help menu -> Diagnostics for this information.

Also, if it crashes: we need a backtrace for that, please also see
https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
on how to get one. Don't forget to install the -dbg packags for Amarok, Phonon
and the Phonon backend before generating the backtrace.
