If folder is updated while database update then cannot the folder update be
remembered and database update triggered again?

I see this problem very often too as I tend to copy multiple folders at once
from remote resource and these additions are mostly missed by automatic
updates.

PS. The conclusion here sounds more like WON'T FIX than WORKSFORME.
