Bug ID: 339663
Summary: amarok gui: some icons are not controllable through
the icon theme, look misplaced and blurry
Product: amarok
Version: 2.8.0
Platform: Debian unstable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
Reporter: bugzilla@kerridis.de
There are some icons in the amarok gui that cannot be controlled via the chosen
icon theme, i.e. the icons located in /usr/share/kde4/apps/amarok/images. To be
precise I mainly refer to the icons named playlist-bookmark-16.png,
playlist-layouts-22.png playlist-sorting-16.png. They never can match the user
chosen icon theme, look like foreign objects, and if you have "small icons"
other than 16 they also look badly blurry because the are not available in
bigger sizes and therefore are scaled up.
This could be avoided if those icons were integrated into the icon theme
structure. Can you please move them to where the other amarok gui/toolbar icons
are so that they can be replaced (and correctly resized) if the icon theme
changes? So that the user has a chance to get crispy clear icons in other sizes
and a good looking amarok gui no matter which icon theme he uses?
Reproducible: Always
