From the initial backtrace I can already tell that the crash happens in
gstreamer anyway, not much we can do about that. 

Since you use Arch, you could use the newly released phonon-backend-gstreamer
4.8 beta which uses the gstreamer 1.x libraries and see if that helps. The
current version of your backend uses the gstreamer 0.10.x libraries.

Another workaround is to use the phonon-backend-vlc instead.
