Well, this is most likely an issue with the phonon backend you use, which exact
one is it? Please specify the backend and version, as well as the gstreamer or
vlc libraries you have installed.

Please also make sure you have no issues with a remote location that could be
unavailable before track change (external HD spinning down, remote share
unavailable, network problems) and that no installed script can interfere.

An output section when this stop happens with 'amarok -d --nofork' after
setting up the phonon debugging settings, as described here:

would really be useful, as your bug report is rather scarce on information....
