I can confirm this issue in 2.8.0.
The date value is not calculated from today but 1/1/1970 when i use older or
newer in the last played criteria. With every restart of Amarok the values have
to be set to the right value manually to work. So the filter works, the issue
has to be in the processing of the XML as it is loaded.
