Bug ID: 317411
Summary: Stream titles from playlist file are not displayed -
just "Stream"
Classification: Unclassified
Product: amarok
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
URL: http://listen.di.fm/public3/trance.pls
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Playback/Streams
Assignee: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
Reporter: dedeibel.forum@arcor.de
When loading a playlist file (.pls) containing stream URLs and titles it adds
all entries but uses "Stream" for all entries.
This is not very handy when having a big list of streams and you want to select
a specific one.
(I have one file with 300 different streams)
Please see the example .pls file from the URL
"http://listen.di.fm/public3/trance.pls"
Content example:
...
File1=http://scfire-ntc-aa01.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1003
Title1=Digitally Imported - Trance
Length1=-1
...
The title of the stream is displayed when the stream is being played but this
is too late to decide what the content of the stream is.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a .pls playlist file containing http streams and helpful titles
2. Load the .pls file using Amarok -> Play Media
3. Look into the entries of the amarok playlist and see "Stream" as titles
Actual Results:
"Stream" as title for all stream playlist entries.
Expected Results:
After loading a playlist:
"Stream" entries are named as specified in the .pls file.
After playing an entry:
If would be great if you could configure the playlist to either
A) Replace the entry name with the meta data sent by the station / stream
B) Leave the name unchanged and as originally specified
