again, sharing a single Amarok database for multiple hosts is not officially
supported.
It could work if you disable dynamic collection on all hosts. [1]

This could be because dynamic collection is disabled on Gentoo and enabled on
Ubuntu. Amarok assigns -1 as device id to all tracks urls when dynamic
collection is turned off. And Again, changing device ids in devices table don't
lead to data-loss bugs with Amarok 2.6 or 2.7 Beta, just hit Update Collection.
(the track counter in Local Collection tab maybe off, but this is a display
bug)
