To be fair, this does not make the upgrade path 2.4 -> "anything later"
unbroken. I know several who lost their several year old databases and
consequently stopped using amarok. If one doesn't care about the content of the
database (like ratings and playcounts), then upgrading both installations to
something beyond 2.5. should do it.
