Indeed. I do have a Galaxy Nexus and am working on a KIO-Slave. Due to the
nature of LIBMTP that includes writing a daemon that detects MTP devices using
udev, caches them and handles all operations and exposes them through DBus.
That should be enough to remove the problems, as they are definitely related to
that. Whether Amarok then uses that DBus Interface or the KIO-Slave (The first
method would result in less overhead and I intend to add a track management API
in addition to the file management) remains to be seen.
