I can't speak for others but what I am saying is that we will probably have a
mass of Gentoo users running into this 'long fixed issue' because there is no
upgrade path kde 4.4 -> 4.6 (without installing 4.5) which preserves your
amarok statistics.  We will send all of our Gentoo stable users down that road,
they will lose their statistics, and start complaining with us and with you. 
What you are saying is 'there is no problem', go away, and that's what the
people will do, sorry.
