2.3.1 and the beta still gave me problems, sorry, I thought I'd put that back
into the bug.

Will try again with 2.3.2 release. It still appears to be specific to having to
scan a large number of directories on an attached NAS. It's fine speedwise on a
local collection. Will test on Tuesday or Wednesday.
