Summary: status bar for transfering/removing tracks with ipod
                    does not progress
           Product: amarok
           Version: 2.3.1.90
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Media Devices
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
        ReportedBy: gshyde@gmail.com
                CC: aumuell@reserv.at

Version: 2.3.1.90 (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Nearly all the time I try to transfer a file to my ipod or removing a file from
my ipod the status bar at the bottom doesn't show the progress of the transfer,
it just stays at 0. Most of the time after this if I cancel or just disconnect
the ipod (by either unmounting in amarok, through the ubs pannel wigit or just
closing amarok) it will cause amarok to crash. I believe this is the actual
root cause of issues I reported earlier about amarok crashing when you unmount
an ipod or close amarok as I can close amarok and unmount an ipod when I don't
change the database or just set cover art.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
start amarok
mount an ipod (mine is a classic 160gb)
transfer songs to the ipod

Actual Results:
the status bar at the bottom just keeps saying that the transfer is in progress
and it has to be killed. When you unmount the ipod it crashes amarok

Expected Results:
the progress bar will move along as files are transferred. Unmounting the ipod
doesn't cause a crash.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-24-generic
Compiler: cc
