Hi,

I agree that this functionality would be great, however to implement this would
not be trivial and in truth would extend Amarok beyond its stated domain.

Amarok is a tool to manage your collection of Music, and -- perhaps
unfortunately -- we have defined that collection to be what you setup in Amarok
and what is stored in the data base.

There are other tools (see music brainz picard, or Kid3) that can help you do
this.
