disregard that: fooled myself - dejavu and others work here
(the size is not updated on font changes unless the timeframe changes, should
at least fix that ;-)

please check if dejavu etc. really fails or just on font changes (e.g. just
start another tune or somehow else change the amount of digits on either label)
