Version:           2.0-RC1 (using KDE 4.1.3)

Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I was having audio mp3 file in a music folder. Amarok was set to scan this
folder. All mp3 file that didn't end with .mp3 were not added to the
collection. Adding this extension and calling update collection in Amarok add
the file to the collection.

In Dolphin, the file were seen without problem as mp3 file even without the
extension.
