Summary: tranfering files to MTP device creates repeated folders
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.9.1
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: rktesser gmail com

Version: 1.4.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.3.1
OS: Linux

I have a MTP device (Sony NWZ-S616F) and wished to transfer music to it using Amarok \
in a way that one directory would be created for each album, containing all songs of \
this album. I've tried do it by leaving the default folder structure (%a - %b) in \
the media configuration dialog. The problem is that instead of creating one directory \
per album and putting all its files inside that, one directory is create for each \
music file. The directories are named like this:

Artist - Music
Artist - Music (2)
Artist - Music (3)
...

I am putting all my musi in the root Music directory of the device since this problem \
is resolved. But it makes difficult to manage the files when I can't or don't want to \
use MTP, sometimes when it's easier to mount the device ass a mass storage device.

Thanks in advance!
