Summary: Disable direct tag editing in playlist browser
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.9.1
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: foren nuxli ch

Version: 1.4.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hi everyone!

I really love amarok (as maybe many outthere do, but I just had to state this first \
:-)).

But there's one thing that's annoying me sometimes. When I want to select with one \
click a playlist entry which is (by accident?) already selected and then press a key, \
the metadata is overwritten. I know this is a wanted feature so that one can edit the \
tags directly. But for me this has left me already several times with lost metadata.

So would it be possible to add a way to somehow disable this direct editing feature \
if one doesn't like it? I still can edit the tags with a right-click and those who \
like this direct editing can just go on using it.

Thanks a lot!
