Summary: AmarokPidgin script messes up pidgin nick, and doesn't
                    display status
           Product: amarok
           Version: 1.4.9.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: wchw0001 yahoo com

Version: 1.4.9.1 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I am using Amarok 1.4.9.1 and Pidgin 2.4 right now. I had installed the AmarokPidgin \
plugin, and set the script to show my now playing in my status. This failed to \
produce the desired effect of changing my Pidgin status appropriately. I then tried \
setting the script to show the now playing in my nick. That changed my nick to:

"(09:37:59 PM) Now Playing: Galapogos by The Smashing Pumpkins on Mellon Collie And \
The Infinite Sadness: Dawn To Dusk [Amarok]"

which is something only I see and no one else I'm talking to sees. What's worse is \
that that same nick persists and never changes even a few days and reboots later and \
even after stopping the AmarokPidgin script. I would like to change the pidgin nick \
that I see back to my actual sn, and perhaps get the now playing information to show \
up in my status correctly. As a side note, I was able to successfully make the status \
display the now playing information when using Exaile, but only when running Amarok I \
run into this problem. _______________________________________________
