I'm also experiencing this bug. It only takes a bit of fiddling in the playback of \
any sound file (fast forward, rewind 10seconds, navigate the playback position by \
dragging the slider, etc...) to completely screw up the time accounting.

To make matters worse, the track length isn't the single thing being screwed up. The \
current time position is also affected. In fact, you only need to fast forward and \
rewind 10s (press left and right keys) to get a difference that goes over several \
minutes in large sound files.
